This "green" (as in new) "experimental" field of medical science is a "highly" controversial area of study that continues to prevail in increasing popularity despite the on-going prohibitionist efforts of many governments.

Many students committed to studying medical marijuana for long durations have reported short-term memory loss, intense bouts of hunger, and occasional feelings of paranoia.  But "it's cool man," because most students also consider it a worthwhile trade-off rather than a sacrifice.
